Keep typing

Quiet when you're away
Idle for 5 minutes, screen locked or Mac asleep: no reminders. When you come back, a fresh interval starts.
Your hours only
Pick your working days and hours. Night owl shifts like 22:00 to 02:00 work too.
Pause before the call

Lives in the menu bar
No Dock icon and no window to manage. The countdown to your next nudge is one click away.

Questions, answered
Does Situpbro watch me through my camera?
No. Situpbro runs on a timer. It never uses the camera, never reads your screen, and doesn't ask for Accessibility or Screen Recording access.
Will it pop up during a client call or screen share?
If a reminder is due and you're sharing your whole screen, the client will see it. Click Pause for 1 hour in the menu bar before the call, or set your working hours around meetings.
Will it interrupt my typing?
No. The reminder never takes keyboard focus, so whatever you're typing keeps going. It disappears by itself after 3, 4 or 6 seconds.
How often does it remind me?
Every 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, your choice. The default is 30. You also pick the screen corner, and sound stays off unless you turn it on.
What happens when the trial ends?
Reminders stop. Your settings stay, and you can buy or enter a license key from the menu bar whenever you like. There are no pop-ups chasing you.
Is it a subscription?
No. Situpbro costs $4.99 once. You buy it inside the app, the license key arrives by email, and it works on 2 Macs.
Will it fix my posture?
Situpbro is a reminder to change position and relax your shoulders. It isn't a treatment or medical advice. If something hurts, talk to a professional.
Is there a Windows version?
No. Situpbro is a native Mac app for macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple Silicon and Intel.
